TESTIMONIALS

Last year’s Development Coaching Course with Mark Borthwick was insightful and engaging! The interactions with other coaches looking to develop their skills, learn and share from one another was something I wouldn't have been able to find elsewhere. To be around like-minded coaches who want to help develop player’s skills but make sure they are genuinely having fun playing and training at the same time was invaluable.

The coaching courses provided by Cricket Wellington gave me a good understanding of what it's like to learn different aspects of a cricket skill. That understanding gave me the insight to help, support, encourage, and motivate players in my team.

The coaching team at Cricket Wellington were very supportive and made me feel at ease, as did the other participants on the practical courses. Having never played or been involved in cricket before, being able to attend practical courses brought the theory from the courses to life for me. The positive support and solid cricket coaching knowledge shared by the community coaching team was extremely valuable. ‘Keep it simple, keep it fun’ became my approach to coaching.

I highly recommend any parent or guardian interested in developing their cricket knowledge and/or skills to register for a course. The courses are heaps of fun and provide a great opportunity to network and share experiences with other like-minded people.
