A right-handed middle-order batter and right-arm medium pace bowler, Isla played for Wellington Under-19 from 2021 to 2025. She made her Blaze debut in the HBJ Shield game against the Canterbury Magicians at the Basin Reserve in February 2025. She took 23 wickets for North City CC in 2023/24 and was named Club Cricketer of the Year for that season.
