The Secondary School Girls First XI Cup

The Secondary School Girls First XI Cup is the national secondary school competition for secondary school girls. Regional qualifying tournaments and finals are held by each Major Association across New Zealand, with one team from each Major Association qualifying for the finals, held annually in December in Lincoln. The national finals consist of T20 cricket played in a round robin format. Learn more about the Cup & its history here ! - https://play.nzc.nz/playnational-tournaments

Youth Girls Sixes

In February Cricket Wellington runs a six-week programme consisting of skills sessions and six a side games. This programme is perfect for girls who want to try cricket for the first time, or for school who don’t have enough players for the weekly College Sport Wellington competition.

During Summer tournament week at the end of March Cricket Wellington also holds a Sixes Festival for schools who don’t have a first eleven team to enter in the Secondary School Girls First XI Cup.
