The Wellington Firebirds will be able to call upon their international talent again when they take-on Canterbury in round seven of the Ford Trophy at the Basin Reserve tomorrow.

BLACKCAPS Tom Blundell and Jimmy Neesham both return to the squad after missing Sunday’s defeat to Northern Districts due to New Zealand A commitments.

Blundell and Neesham’s return are two of three changes made by head coach Glenn Pocknall from Sunday’s squad.

Young fast-bowler Ben Sears also returns for the first time since November – Lauchie Johns, Michael Snedden and Adam Leonard drop out.

Rachin Ravindra is still unavailable after he was selected in the New Zealand A squad to face India A in three four-day matches – Ollie Newton is unavailable due to injury.

Play gets underway from 11.00am at the Basin Reserve – spectator entry is free.
