Wellington Firebirds white ball captain Hamish Bennett will return to the Firebirds squad for their round five Ford Trophy match against the Otago Volts tomorrow.

Bennett has been unavailable for the Firebirds since late October after sustaining a minor injury in their round one Plunket Shield win over Otago at the Basin Reserve.

The fast bowler has been included in the 14-man squad for tomorrow’s match and will captain the side if selected in the playing eleven.
