The Blaze will carry the Wellington flag this Super Smash Finals Weekend after securing their second seed yesterday at the Cello Basin Reserve.

With four games in two days, the Cello Basin Reserve will be busy hosting the Elimination Final (2nd vs 3rd) on Saturday for both men and women, followed by the Grand Final (1st vs winner of EF) on Sunday.

Finishing second with 22 points, the Blaze will be the higher seed in tomorrow’s Elimination Final match against the Northern Brave, a rematch from Thursday’s washed out Round 10 matchup.

Xara Jetly is out injured following a hand injury sustained off her own bowling in the last fixture, with WHITE FERNS Georgia Plimmer and Leigh Kasperek also still unavailable.

Rachel Bryant, who was presented Blaze T20 Cap #60 last round, will be looking to make her first actions for the team this weekend, after rain meant she did not take the field on Thursday.
