Cricket Wellington is now calling on entries for the 2026 Advanced Development coaching course. This will be facilitated by Dylan Harridge, the Coach Development Manager from Cricket Wellington and Mark Borthwick, the New Zealand Cricket Regional Coach Development Manager.
ADVANCED DEVELOPMENT COACHING COURSE
This course is delivered over two days with blended content. It combines online and practical modules alongside personal study and is intended for coaches of 11-a-side teams who have an active coaching record and a commitment to coaching. They will be coaching DA senior teams, premier club teams, school 1st XIs or MA age-group teams.This coaching course will give you the knowledge you need to lead your team effectively and create an environment where everyone you coach is operating at their best.
Minimum Requirements: Development Qualification*
Dates: Saturday 8th August(9am – 4:30pm)and Sunday 9th August (10am – 4:30pm), (If selected, you must attend both sessions).
Location: Hnry Stadium Indoor Nets
Cost: $250 per person
*Exemptions will be considered for those with an extensive coaching background or former/current performance players who have expressed a desire in pursuing coaching.
Before an application is considered, prospective coaches must register on New Zealand Cricket’s coaching portal located here. Coaches must also complete the Welfare of Children and Vulnerable Adults Module.
