Our School Holiday programmes are now permanent features of the Wellington School of Cricket calendar. We run four of these annually to coincide with the school holidays, including one over the summer school break. Our programmes are held in January, April, July, and October.

This programme is perfect for children who are starting out. The programme is run by a Cricket Wellington qualified coach and is recommended for children who are 6–9 years of age. It provides an opportunity for participants to learn basic cricket skills using drills developed by New Zealand Cricket, while having lots of fun.
The IHP is recommended for cricketers 10-12 years of age who want to improve their performance. It’s a cricket skill development course that also includes some Fundamental Physical Development Programme components to it. As a well-balanced course it is the perfect opportunity to work on your game and development as a cricketer.
ADVANCED SKILL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME (ASDP)
The Advanced Skill Development Programme is recommended for junior premier level cricketers and college cricketers (12 and above) who want high level development.
The programme will consist of advance batting, bowling and fielding skills and will discuss about Game scenarios. In this programme the bowling machine will be used for various activities.
The Wellington School of Cricket Spring Training Programme is now open for registrations. This is a 4-week training programme to get you ready for the upcoming season and is for players that will be playing Year 6, Year 7, or Year 8 cricket in the upcoming season.
The programme will begin the week of 15 October, following the conclusion of the school holidays. For each year group, there are training options in Wellington (at the Basin Reserve or Westpac Stadium) and Mana (at the Mana Indoor Centre).
This programme is focused on developing players’ physical, mental, tactical and technical areas of the game.
Please note: this replaces the previously advertised 6-week Spring Training Programme scheduled to begin in September
