Cricket Wellington has advised that Andy McKay will be sidelined from cricket for approximately eight weeks, as a result of a side strain suffered in the last round of the Plunket Shield, against Canterbury in Rangiora. Director of Cricket Robbie Kerr said that McKay has had a rehabilitation programme put in place, which targets the resumption of Plunket Shield matches in late January as a likely return for McKay.
