Logan is a right-handed batter and right-arm fast-medium bowler originally from Christchurch, who played 28 first-class games, 38 Ford Trophy games and 43 T20s for Canterbury from 2009 to 2017. His first Plunket Shield game for the Firebirds was against the Auckland Aces on the Basin Reserve in October 2017 and he made his Firebirds’ Ford Trophy debut against the Northern Knights at Whangarei in December 2017. His first Super Smash game for the Firebirds was also against the Knights at Hamilton in December 2019.

Since 2014 Logan has represented the Netherlands, where his father was born, and he was part of that team at the 2023 ICC World Cup tournament in India. He played for Derbyshire CCC (2019-21),‘Worcestershire CCC (2023-24) and Leicestershire CCC (2025). He is the grandson of West Indies and New Zealand player Sammy Guillen and played cricket and basketball for New Zealand Under-19 in 2009/10.
