Jess is a right-handed batter and right-arm medium-pace bowler originally from Christchurch. She played 65 one-dayers and 36 T20s for the Canterbury Magicians from 2016 to 2025. Her first HBJ Shield game for the Blaze was against Northern Districts at Whangarei in November 2025.
