KIRIKITI

Kirikiti (Samoan cricket) has a long history of play in Wellington dating back to the 1980’s.

2024/25 was a big year for the sport, which will include the first season of a Wellington Kirikiti Club Competition and College Kirikiti Festival.

KIRIKITI PREMIER LEAGUE

In partnership with the Wellington Sāmoa Kirikiti Association (WSKA), we bring you the Kirikiti Premier League (KPL). Weekly Friday night games with female & male competitions run a round robin & then finals to determine the champions.

FILIMALAE KIRIKITI TOURNAMENT

The Filimalae Champ of Champs is played every December at Fraser Park. ​​​​​​​

KIRIKITI COLLEGE FESTIVAL

Wellington Sāmoa Kirikiti Association, College Sport Wellington & Cricket Wellington are excited to bring you the Kirikiti College Festival. The day will be a celebration of language & culture through the traditional Samoan sport of Kirikiti.
