Cricket Wellington are right in behind the fundraising appeal for Angus Little

Cricket Wellington will be donating $1 for every person that comes through the gate for the Boxing Day HRV Cup Twenty20 game between the Hell Wellington Firebirds and the Central District Stags. There will also be a bucket collection going around the ground during the game.

So what better way to spend Boxing Day? Grab your family and friends and enjoy some great cricket action and know you're helping Angus in his battle with this rare tumour.

Angus is a 5-year old boy with a brainstem tumour that is inoperable due to its location at the base of the brain. Dave and Wendy Little (Angus' mum and dad) are fundraising to try and get Angus overseas for clinical trials to give Angus the chance of life that all kids deserve. Dave has a been a long time member as player and coach for the Taita cricket club and represented Hutt Valley over a number of years as well as playing first-class cricket for Wellington in the late 1990s. Dave and his family are now facing their toughest battle with Angus' condition.

Cricket Wellington normal entry terms and conditions apply. In addition, no chairs or umbrellas are allowed. Your ticket must be shown on entry to the field where you will be given a wristband. The wristband will allow you to go in and out.
