Cricket Wellington – Call for Nominations of Directors
The Cricket Wellington AGM will be held on Wednesday 18 October 2017 in the Norwood Room, RA Vance Stand, Basin Reserve, Wellington.
As per the Cricket Wellington Constitution, each year there are two Board Members position available for election.
Bruce Pepperell (resigned November 2016) and Steven Fyfe are not seeking re-election.
This notice is formal advice that nominations for the position of Director are now open and must be received in writing to the Chief Executive Officer by 5pm on Friday 15 September 2017.
Cricket Wellington is seeking applications for board members from individuals who believe that they have what it takes to be an inspirational leader.
Cricket Wellington is developing a strong collective skill-set within the Board. The persons being sought will bring all or some of the following:
- The ability to think strategically
- A commercial perspective, including financial experience;
- An interest or involvement in sport
- Previous Management or board-level experience in a successful company or organisation

An exciting opportunity exists for someone that can produce fantastic cricket pitches. The Wellington City Council is looking for an experienced Sportsfield Technician who will be based at Karori Park and will be responsible for delivering first class cricket pitches for the Wellington Firebirds, Wellington Blaze and National age grade tournaments.
